Jose holds the distinguished position of Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner at Guilarte Garrido Insurance. His extensive tenure in the Insurance and Financial Services industry spans nearly three decades, showcasing a rich tapestry of professional engagement. His leadership also extends to his roles on the board of directors for the Workers Compensation Research Institute of America and the American Federation of Insurance Services (AFIS).

As a conscientious and analytical problem-solver, Mr. Garrido takes pride in guiding individual clients, entrepreneurs, and corporate entities towards the realization of their insurance and financial aspirations. Prior to the establishment of Guilarte Garrido Insurance in 2012, Mr. Garrido fulfilled the role of agency owner for Allstate Insurance Company, a commitment that spanned 21 years, during which he significantly contributed to the company’s growth and reputation.

Mr. Garrido holds an insurance degree from the Gold Coast School of Insurance, with specializations in Property & Casualty, Life & Health. Mr. Garrido’s industry leadership is further validated by his memberships in prominent industry associations such as the Florida Insurance Council (FIC), Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA), Florida Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (FAIFA), Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA of Florida), and the Latin American Association of Insurance Agents (LAAIA). These memberships underscore his adeptness in addressing the insurance needs of high-net-worth families, individuals, and organizations, and his mastery of the techniques and resources essential for managing their comprehensive insurance risk profiles.

A native of Miami, he resides in Pembroke Pines with his wife, Patty, and their two children.
